By downloading, installing, or using PillDaddy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: PillDaddy is a reminder tool and is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• The App is designed solely to help you remember to take your medications at scheduled times.
• Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding medications or medical conditions.
• Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read in the App.
• The App does not provide medical advice, prescribe medications, or diagnose health conditions.
• In case of a medical emergency, immediately call your local emergency services.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of PillDaddy, you agree to:

• Accurately enter your medication information, including names, dosages, and schedules.
• Verify all medication information with your healthcare provider or pharmacist.
• Ensure your device's notifications are properly configured to receive reminders.
• Keep your medication information up to date in the App.
• Not rely solely on the App for medication management in critical health situations.
• Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Not use the App for illegal purposes or to manage controlled substances without proper authorization.

4. Limitation of Liability

CRITICAL: To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• PillDaddy and its developers are NOT liable for any missed medications, incorrect dosages, or adverse health outcomes resulting from use or misuse of the App.
• The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or function without delays or technical issues.
• We are not responsible for data loss, device malfunction, or any other technical issues affecting the App's functionality.
• In no event shall PillDaddy or its developers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

5. Privacy and Data Collection

Your privacy is important to us. Here's what you need to know:

• All medication data is stored locally on your device by default.
• We do not sell, share, or transmit your medication information to third parties.
• Cloud sync feature requires user login. Once logged in, your medication data is encrypted and stored in the cloud to sync across all your iOS devices.
• We may collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the App, but this data cannot be used to identify you personally.
• You are responsible for the security of your device and any data stored on it.

6. In-App Purchase: Ad Removal

PillDaddy offers a one-time in-app purchase to remove advertisements:

• The ad removal purchase is processed through the Apple App Store and subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Once purchased, ads will be disabled on all devices where you are signed in with the same Apple ID account.
• This is a one-time purchase that does not require renewal.
• No refunds are provided after the purchase is completed.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with advance notice, but existing purchases will remain valid.

7. Intellectual Property

Software, design, text, graphics, logos, and user interface are owned by PillDaddy.

• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our express written permission.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice.
• Remove or disable any features that are being misused or violate these Terms.
• You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:

• The updated Terms will be posted within the App and on our website.
• The "Last Updated" date will be revised.
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
• For material changes, we will provide prominent notice within the App.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PillDaddy, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
• Any health outcomes related to medication adherence or non-adherence

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
